Here in the U.K. we are lucky to have such a wonderful array of Moths & Butterflies, thanks to our varied climate, diverse habitats and history of relatively stable environmental conditions. This has made for a plethora of species that can be spotted throughout the year, but some steal the spotlight more than others.
The project had the aim to educate the public on some of the lesser-known species across the country, from the Elephant Hawkmoth, with it’s striking pink markings and large wingspan, to the Marsh Fritillary, a species that is vulnerable to extinction both here and across Europe, so has become an important conservation project.
